My name is Fiona and I’m an experienced SENDCo with a Masters in Psychology, 15 years of teaching, leading and governing in primary and secondary schools, and lived experience of being a SEND parent.
All too often schools and families are in conflict over a child’s needs and the child gets lost in the process.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Collaboration is key to keeping the child at the heart of everything and getting their needs met.
From my work as a SENDCO I know what works in schools, and I know what other options are out there if school isn’t the right place. I also know how it feels to watch your child struggle and want to make a difference. Bringing both experiences to the table, I help everyone reach agreement on a package of impactful, achievable and affordable support for the child who is at the heart of the cares of the family and the school.
